Hello, I'm glad you found me.
My name is Johana Jašková, nice to meet you.
Through my work, I seek to evoke a sense of wonder and connection, inviting viewers to look into the depths of their own consciousness and explore the beauty and complexity of the world around them. Each piece I create is a reflection of my deep reverence for the natural world and a celebration of the resilience and essence of the human spirit.
In my work I blend aesthetic beauty with social relevance. While I am deeply committed to creating visually captivating pieces, each artwork also carries a powerful message or narrative, shedding light on pressing issues such as environmental sustainability, social justice, and mental health.
When I create, I become fully myself and no one, all at once. It is an incredible state of being.
I am many things, but mostly
- an artist.
An introvert.
A creativist with an undeniable pull towards
life,
simplicity,
beauty
and otherness.
I started to sculpt clay faces in 2021, out of pure necessity to experience the lightness of childish happiness of creating. Without any pressure from the outside.
Later on, it became an important tool for overcoming
anxiety and depression.
With my background in (interior) design (Masters degree in art), I developed a an eye for color, composition, and detail.
Being meticulous goes beyond just creating an art piece.
If you want to learn more about me, you can do so through
my writings in my journal.
Welcome to my world, I hope you like it here.
